Fascinating World

A small attempt to gather unusual and amazing facts about elements of Nature.

About

I feel that the Nature is the greatest Creator. Nature has created a world full of amazing things. It is not always possible to explore and experience each thing.

I was always fascinated by the innumerable unusual things found in the Nature. So this is a small attempt to jot down a few such amazing facts.

Although scientific facts and explanations of the unique phenomena are given here, too much use of technical language has been avoided. Thus these write-ups are easy to understand for any person, even small children.

A few years ago, I had researched and compiled some extraordinary natural phenomena. These were published by The Children’s’ Book Trust (N. Delhi, India) with the title ‘Marvels of Nature’.

  5. Savita, please consider presenting some interesting facts about common creatures also like lizards, sparrows and so on — those we encounter everyday but take for granted. May be some interesting and otherwise unknown facts about these fellow living beings. It would be something like — “Do you know that your house lizard _______ !”
